Profile update

Good morning all my cali buds - just wanted to let you know I have finally updated my profile and even added a couple of pictures.  OMG its been a little over 2 years and I can not believe it.  What a journey this has been (and continues to be).  I thank god every day that he has given me the strength and will power to accomplish what I have in the past 2 years.  I actually love life now.  To those of you starting out - WLS is not something to take lightly.  Make sure you do your research and totally understand EVERYTHING about the procedure you are planning.  Know the risks and the benefits and KNOW that this is not a quick fix.  It is a life changing decision not to be taken lightly.  Yes, the weight can come back and you CAN gain it all back if you go back to the bad eating habits.  Just make sure you understand everything.

This has changed my life in more ways than I can ever express.  Not only am I healthy but I have a zest for living now.  And on top of all of the benefits of losing 180 lbs...I have made so many life time friends here at OH...you know who you are.

I am not going to write a book here I am just offering my story and telling anyway who is thinking about WLS to feel free to PM me if you have questions.  I am proud of my decision.  I have never ever hidden the fact that I had WLS and am always ready to talk about it and answer any and all questions.

You are such an inspiration to all of us here.  You give such great advice also and serve it up with Love and a Hug.  Kinda like a burger with fries and a coke,  crap we don't eat that anymore. 

How about fresh fish with a side of green beans!  That works.  lol.  I am so proud of all htat you have accomplished.  I am so blessed to have you as my freind.  I love you girl and want the best for you always.

Hear, hear!!  Words of wisdom!  The success that one has, is the product of one's own labors.   WLS is not an easy fix.  It takes committment to make it work.  Jean, you are a shining example of that type of committment.  You have worked hard to be successful, and I am so happy for you.

I am going over to read it now.  I am so happy for you.  We have talked many time about life as a fat chick, to a thin normal person, and how it feels inside.  You are my inspiration to keep working at getting to goal.  Frankly I can't wait to get there.  I know what I do wrong and where I need to fix things, but my head is just not there yet.

I also wanted to say, how funny, after I don't know how long, yesterday I updated my profile too.  I also read my entire profile.  It was interesting for me to read about me, the accomplishments I made along the way.  I hope some of you will take the time to read mine too. 

Jean you have changed your life on so many levels, and you are one of the most wonderful persons, I have met.  You are sweet, loving, kind hearted, and kind soul, who is always smiling.  You have a zest for life that we should all work on having, because you are right, we need to all love life....we are here for a limited amount of time, why waste is unhappy.

Awww Jean, I am so happy for you...we have been through this process together almost from the beginning! I still have the picture of us together when I'm a week post-op and you were pre-op.....a reminder to me of how far I have come. 

Your passion for life is so evident and very contagious! I can't wait to see you again so we can take pictures of our flat tummies! :)

You know what, if I leaned over and took a picture like you, my boobs would move away from my body and there they would like like two big utters, my tummy would be on the table, and you knows it's true Jean, you saw me NAKED!
